As I am going
through my Entrepreneurial class, I am learning that true success can be
expected when you keep your eyes toward the ultimate goal of pleasing our
father in heaven, and being honest in all you do, and being honest to all
people. Remembering that you are working with REAL people and catering to them
is the mark of a good businessperson.
I also learned
this week from Jim Ritchie. He talks about the Formula For Success. What I
liked about Jim Ritchie’s formula was that he took two formulas and combined
them to make one. He took a formula that J. Paul Getty used, and one that David
B. Haight taught him on his mission.
J. Paul Getty’s formula was:
1.
Get Up Early
2.
Work Hard
3.
Find (your) Oil
David B. Haight’s formula was:
1.
Get Your Education
2.
Make Your Mark
3.
Prepare Yourself To Serve/ Give Back
The combined formula for success is:
1.
Get Up Early
2.
Work Hard
3.
Get Your Education
4.
Find (your) Oil
5.
Make Your Mark
6.
Prepare Yourself To Serve/Give Back
I liked when Jim Ritchie said that if you fully grasp and
understand this formula, it would ALWAYS work.
This week I want to put this formula to the test and really
utilize it in my life.
I’m quite excited to see how it works for me!
‘Till next week!
Patty
